I am interested in music, particularly in Early Music (Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque). I am fascinated by the connection that can be established through early music between literature, language practices and music.
In the past (and more recently), I had the opportunity to perform with various ensembles of early music: Conjunto Garcimuñoz, Costa Rica (Rómulo Vega González, Director). Collegium Musicum, University of llinois at Urbana-Champaign (Sonia Lee, Ph.D) and Conjunto Universitario de Música Antigua. University of Costa Rica.
I have also performed with Western Illinois University Madrigal Singers and Western Illinois University Concert Choir. In Costa Rica, with the Choir of the School of Music and with the San José Metropolitan Cathedral Choir.
